RE.DESIGN by Reserved opens a new chapter: a contemporary reinterpretation of Polish heritage

RE.DESIGN is a special collection signed by Reserved, inspired by the cultural heritage of Poland. Starting from the emblematic motifs of Włocławek ceramics, the collection reinterprets them in a contemporary manner and blends them with the aesthetic of the latest trends from international runways.

The collection was born from the design team’s genuine fascination with Polish culture and from a visit to the Ethnographic Museum, the place where the search began for motifs that could be transposed into the language of contemporary fashion. The result is a collection that brings together local symbols with silhouettes and details inspired by the newest fashion trends.

The entire collection is traversed by a romantic aesthetic, evoking the atmosphere of family albums and the nostalgia of childhood photographs, yet reinterpreted in a current key. Reserved’s designers blend the sensuality and fluidity of materials with bold forms: accentuated shoulders inspired by the ’80s aesthetic, spectacular ruffles, expressive proportions and contrasts between textures. The romantic references are balanced by modern cuts, lending the collection a contemporary and sophisticated character.

Although compact, the collection tells a complete story. It includes a red leather jacket with a strong silhouette, a fluid lyocell skirt, a summer suit made from a lyocell and viscose blend, an oversized cotton T-shirt embroidered with motifs inspired by Włocławek ceramics and a T-shirt with a kimono-style cut. The collection is completed by a light blue bomber jacket, capri trousers and trousers with a masculine cut, inspired by recent trends presented on the runway. Statement ruffle dresses and bodysuits complete the ready-to-wear selection, alongside accessories such as a keyring and a pendant inspired by traditional decorative motifs, a silk scarf and a leather belt that blends folkloric influences with the ’80s aesthetic.

The materials and the contrast between them represent one of the key elements of the collection. Rustic-looking textures and linen-based blends are complemented by vaporous and transparent materials that add lightness and a contemporary feel to the pieces. The dialogue between leather and fluid silhouettes defines one of the collection’s creative directions.

The chromatic palette is inspired by the emblematic shades of blue and red specific to Włocławek ceramics. An important role is also played by original motifs created by artists associated with this tradition, reinterpreted through prints and hand-crafted embroideries. Details such as labels decorated with floral motifs complete the collection’s distinctive identity.

RE.DESIGN marks a new chapter in Reserved’s ongoing exploration of Polish design and local heritage. The brand continues this creative direction, transforming elements of cultural tradition into collections relevant to contemporary fashion. Each collection starts from the silhouettes and aesthetic of the season, and the influences of local heritage are naturally integrated to create an authentic and current interpretation.
