Pure Electric, in collaboration with McLaren, has unveiled a new pair of racing-inspired e-scooters, adding to their growing lineup of innovative mobility solutions. The special edition models, featuring the striking McLaren papaya orange and a sleek deep black, mirror the iconic color schemes of McLaren’s Formula 1 race cars.
Derived from Pure Electric’s popular Pure Advance+ model, these e-scooters boast a robust 710-watt motor, capable of fast acceleration and effective hill climbing. With a range of up to 31 miles (approximately 50 kilometers) on a single charge and equipped with large 10-inch puncture-resistant tires, these scooters are designed for both performance and durability. They are also IP65-rated, ensuring full waterproof capabilities suitable for all weather conditions.
Adam Norris, founder of Pure Electric and father of Formula 1 and McLaren driver Lando Norris, expressed his pride in the collaboration, emphasizing the blend of advanced engineering and aesthetic design. The familial ties in the partnership highlight a deep connection beyond business, with both Norris’ playing a significant role in the development of these products.
Available worldwide from July 4, the Pure x McLaren Special Edition scooters can be purchased through Pure’s website, marking a significant step forward in the e-mobility sector.
