The launch event of the new ORIGIN collection, signed by IRINA VOINEA, transformed the MINA Museum into an immersive journey through the Cosmos, where technology, art, and our origins meet. 400 guests, including artists, partners, journalists, and content creators, joined Irina for the occasion. Among those present were Smiley, Pavel Bartoș, Cornel Ilie, Feli, AMI, Emil Rengle, Roxana Hulpe, Raluca Bădulescu, Jorge, Ovidiu Buta, and Lucy Faur.

22 Looks Presented in a Stellar Runway
The new collection introduced a total of 22 looks that expanded the universe created by Irina Voinea. The collection starts from the premise that we are more than flesh and bones; our essence carries within it the memory of a stellar heritage. Thus, ORIGIN becomes a portal between the material and the divine, an open invitation to reconnect with our true nature. Each garment is conceived as a fragment of our cosmic DNA, embroidered with the universal patterns of existence, successfully translating cosmic memory into a tangible form.

A New Stage for Irina – The Female Muse
A defining element of the ORIGIN collection is its direction towards womenswear, embraced for the very first time: 10 of the 22 looks were created specifically to explore the complexity and expressiveness of the female body. This opening towards women’s wardrobes transforms ORIGIN into the most extensive and complex collection in the designer’s career to date.

As a natural extension of the brand, IRINA VOINEA explores even more deeply this time the integration of new-age technology into clothing. ORIGIN marks a visible leap forward, creating a bridge between contemporary fashion and cutting-edge innovation through pieces that combine smart textiles with urban, oversized silhouettes.
The collection introduces sophisticated materials and techniques, ranging from silk and silk organza to multiple types of cotton, jerseys, and digitally printed denim, as well as elements created through 3D printing directly onto fabric. The pieces are complemented by embroidery and special stitching developed in collaboration with international suppliers, in a creative process that combines global know-how with a personal artistic vision.
