On 11 June 2026, at Sala Luceafărul, NOUA UNSPE presents STUDIO 54 EXPERIENCE®, one of the most ambitious independent productions created by an artist from the new generation in Romania an immersive musical theatre show built as a complete universe, where music, dance, theatre, film and nightlife culture coexist in a single experience.

Inspired by the energy of the legendary Studio 54 of the ’70s and ’80s and reinterpreted through the filter of a new generation, the project goes beyond the classic concert format and proposes a cinematic, conceptual and deeply performative show.

The event is built in three acts and begins with a pre-drinks party & museum experience, where the audience enters directly into the STUDIO 54 universe. The lobby of Sala Luceafărul is transformed into a living artistic installation, populated by characters, performers, reinterpreted archives and elements inspired by the underground disco culture of New York. The central part of the evening is an original musical by NOUA UNSPE, in which the artist performs the entire STUDIO 54 album live in a show with a narrative thread built around the album’s tracks. The production follows the story of the STUDIO 54 universe through a combination of theatre, dance and live performance, where NOUA UNSPE simultaneously becomes actor, dancer and singer.

The stage is built as a modular “Studio 54”, the sets transform in real time, and the characters of the album come to life in an experience that functions like a film lived live by the audience. The show includes extensive choreographic moments and sequences built around dance, inspired by the iconic energy of disco club culture.

The cast includes Silviu Gherman and Silvana Mihai, the show being written and directed by Mihai Feflea, with choreography by Aura Vidroiu.

The experience continues after the show with an afterparty inspired by the iconic evenings at Studio 54, where the boundary between audience, performer and character begins to disappear.

“I didn’t want to just make a concert. I wanted to build a place that exists for one night and in which people feel they have genuinely entered another world. A place where music is not only heard, but lived,” says NOUA UNSPE.

The STUDIO 54 album functions as the soundtrack of this artistic universe, each track introducing different characters, worlds and influences, from disco and jazz to hip-hop, rock and New York nightlife culture.
