British artist Natasha Bedingfield will perform her first concert in Romania on 17 August 2026, at Arenele Romane in Bucharest an electrifying encounter between an artist with an iconic career and an audience that has recently rediscovered her music. “I haven’t seen a montage like this in a film before, it was truly a love letter from the director to the song. I’m sure the actors were quite puzzled when they had to sing Unwritten at the end of every scene. I don’t think people simply discovered Unwritten. Most of those who saw the film already knew it, so when they went to the cinema, they came out singing it and posted about it, which brought the song to even more listeners,” says the artist.
Even now, the song continues its viral journey, uniting different generations and transforming itself into a true cultural phenomenon from high-energy school events and DJ sets with large audiences, to student parties and spoken word performances. It has been reinterpreted by young people who went viral on TikTok in high-energy live versions, used as a preparation track by an Olympic boxing champion, and chosen as ring entrance music by fighters from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the world’s most renowned mixed martial arts organisation.
