Following the release of the album Mixed Feelings, a project that highlighted the multiple facets of her artistic universe, Minelli returns to the dance sound that transformed her into an international phenomenon. Her new single, “Sun Goes Down”, is a track full of energy, emotion and a memorable chorus, ready to conquer playlists and dance floors.

Initially inspired by a universal childhood fear the fear of the dark and of falling asleep alone “Sun Goes Down” transforms this emotion into an intense love story. The track explores the feeling of vulnerability that appears when the person you love is not by your side, and the night becomes longer and more oppressive. Through sincere lyrics and vibrant production, Minelli manages to transform a childhood fear into a contemporary dance anthem about longing and connection.

“Sun Goes Down talks about those moments when the darkness is no longer just about the absence of light, but about the absence of a person. I started from a fear that many of us had in childhood and transformed it into a story about love, longing and the need for closeness,” says Minelli.

The track was composed by Minelli and produced by Viky Red, the collaboration between the two bringing together the artist’s compositional sensitivity and a modern production, built to convey emotion without losing the energy characteristic of her hits.
