A new chapter in the Sensual Purity design philosophy
The exterior design of the Vision V represents the next step in the evolution of Mercedes-Benz’s unique Sensual Puritydesign language. Its appearance is defined by an innovative aesthetic combined with the highest standards in aerodynamics. The front and rear overhangs are notably shortened, while the side sections feature a particularly narrow line. The firmly stretched roofline flows into a rounded, fluid rear. This aerodynamic silhouette expresses power and dynamism, symbolizing confidence and offering a glimpse into both the design direction and exceptional driving experience of future Mercedes-Benz MPVs.

Front Design: Iconic elements in a new light
- The impressive front end stands out with a modern reinterpretation of the chrome radiator grille, which includes three horizontal illuminated glass blades. Nearly 200 luminous elements with a technical look frame the chrome surround.
- Under the pronounced open space below the hood, an additional 190 illuminated blades extend, flanking the headlights shaped in the iconic three-pointed star design.

- As passengers approach the Vision V, they are greeted by a dynamic and artistic light show across all the illuminated elements. The highlight of the spectacle is the bright illumination of the Mercedes-Benz star on the hood. The lights beneath the headlights also function as turn signals.
- The vehicle emphasizes its sporty proportions with two distinctive powerdomes on the short hood, extending toward the cockpit.
Side Design: Sculpted power and flowing elegance
- Large wheel arches and a sharply defined character line enhance the strong volume of the vehicle’s side profile.
- The refined edge, in combination with the metallic anthracite-reflective paint and chrome window surrounds, emphasizes the perfect balance between elegance and dynamism.
- The 24-inch wheels also feature integrated light blades, adding to the futuristic appearance.
- The chrome B-pillars incorporate welcome screens, offering a first impression of the vehicle’s exclusive digital environment.

- On the right side, a large automatic “portal-style” sliding door and an illuminated retractable step ensure easy and luxurious access to the rear passenger area. Both rear doors open automatically as well.
Rear Design: Striking aesthetics with 3D LED lighting
- The interplay of light and motion continues at the rear. The large rear window is surrounded by over 450 three-dimensional illuminated elements, functioning as taillights and brake lights.
Vehicle Dimensions
- Length: 5,486 mm
- Width: 2,100 mm
- Height: 1,892 mm
- Wheelbase: 3,530 mm
- Track width: 1,820 mm (front) / 1,860 mm (rear)
- Turning circle: 14.5 meters
Solar Roof: Greater range through self-generated energy
- The roof features a total of 168 IBC (interdigitated back contact) solar cells, fully covering the surface with solar modules.
- These high-efficiency cells offer 24.3% efficiency, generating a total power output of 539 watts.
- The energy produced is used directly for propulsion or stored in the high-voltage battery.
- On an annual average, the solar roof can generate about 2.08 kWh of energy per day.
- Performance depends on sun intensity and geographic location. For instance, in Madrid during summer, the roof could produce around 3.44 kWh/day.
- With an estimated energy consumption of 15.5 kWh/100 km, this translates to a daily average solar range of approximately 22 km — a significant portion of daily travel powered exclusively by solar energy.
