Music, lifestyle and premium indoor experiences, in a format that extends the winter season
Starting in 2026, Massif launches Massif Week, a new format developed by UNTOLD Universe, which will take place between February 27 March 8, 2026, in Poiana Brașov.
Massif Week proposes a different approach to the winter mountain experience: a destination-type experience, built around music, socializing, and time spent in the mountains, regardless of weather conditions.
A vacation experience, in your own rhythm
Designed for the real way tourists plan their winter holidays, Massif Week allows longer stays, extended weekends, without the pressure of a rigid schedule.
The format includes six distinct musical experiences, held in covered and heated pop-up spaces with limited capacity:
• Massif X – the main platform of Massif Week, active on the weekends of February 27-28 and March 6-7, dedicated to curated events, collaborations with labels and premium party concepts, both from Romania and abroad;
• The Chalet – the après-ski & early night experience, where evenings naturally continue with parties after a day on the slopes, with a recurring audience;
• The Observatory – a space dedicated to both tourists and the local community, with after-ski and relaxed evenings;
• The Retro Dome – a concept dedicated to retro music;
• The Forest Hideout – a boutique experience, active on weekends, aimed at cultivating a niche audience;
• The Best Kept Secret – a speakeasy open throughout Massif Week, with controlled access, by invitation only.
Naturally integrated into the life of the resort
Massif Week is designed to integrate naturally into Poiana Brașov, without additional traffic restrictions in the resort and without disrupting normal tourist activity. All experiences take place in indoor spaces and carefully selected locations, while the resort maintains its usual rhythm.
The format allows hotels and accommodation units to create more flexible and accessible vacation packages, contributing to the extension of the winter season, regardless of weather conditions.

Two Massif Week editions each winter season
Starting in 2026, Massif will host two Massif Week editions per season:
• an edition opening the winter season, at the beginning of December;
• an edition closing the winter season, at the end of February – beginning of March.
More details about the program, concepts and the first artistic elements will be communicated on January 15.

Massif is the winter music and experience project developed by the UNTOLD Universe team, a fun hub for winter sports lovers and festival atmosphere enthusiasts, which gathered over 81,000 fans of music, fun and mountains in Poiana Brașov across its two festival editions.
The first edition of the Massif festival brought over 38,000 fans during the three days of shows and live concerts in Poiana Brașov, while the second edition brought over 43,000 festivalgoers.
Romanian and international artists such as Mahmut Orhan, Shimza, Dimitri Vegas, Claptone, Gordo animated the atmosphere on the stages set up at the base of the slope and at partner après-ski venues.
