Lenovo launches the new flagship Legion 9i (18″, 10) in Romania, a gaming laptop that brings games to life

Bucharest, July 24, 2025 Lenovo launches in Romania the new Legion 9i gaming laptop, now in its second generation and equipped for the first time with an 18″ display. This flagship is designed for both gamers and developers, featuring functionalities that deliver not only unique gaming performance but also an exceptional experience for game development.

More than 50% of games announced for current PCs and consoles are developed in Unreal Engine¹, the world’s most advanced and versatile real-time 3D creation platform. Lenovo Legion 9i (18″, 10) is built for game developers, visual artists, and 3D creators who need a device capable of not just running their favorite titles, but also of helping them build their own virtual worlds.

The 18-inch PureSight display offers up to 4K resolution in 2D mode, with optional support for 2K display in three dimensions ideal for designers who work frequently with 3D modeling and want to visualize their projects in space without a VR headset or external 3D screen. The 3D display uses a combined system of eye-tracking and lenticular lens technology to deliver a glasses-free 3D image. Lenovo 3D Studio allows 3D playback for multiple video formats, images, and streaming content, in side-by-side or top-bottom layouts. The software suite also supports 3D display for 30 games and numerous creative applications. Both gamers and developers can benefit from Dual Mode, which enables switching between a 240Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution and up to 440Hz² at FHD ideal for ultra-smooth, high-speed graphics. The display has a 93% screen-to-body ratio, thanks to its ultra-thin bezels.

With AI becoming more deeply integrated into workflows, game development has become more accessible. Artificial intelligence has shortened development times from years to just a few months³, and the Lenovo Legion 9i (18″, 10) comes equipped with AI hardware and software that optimize game performance and facilitate development. The laptop includes the Lenovo AI Core chip and Lenovo AI Engine+ suite, which dynamically adjusts settings based on usage scenarios, maximizing performance whether gaming or rendering.

Lenovo Legion Space uses AI to synchronize RGB lighting with in game audio and content, enhancing immersion and the overall atmosphere. This functionality complements the device’s new six-speaker audio system.

AI features such as Game Coach, Game Clip Master, and Game Companion help players improve their skills, create shareable content with ease, and receive assistance and encouragement during gameplay to stay motivated. Learn more about the new Lenovo Legion Space here.
