In the first four days since opening, NIBIRU attracted 282,000 visitors, with an average of approximately 70,000 people per day, marking a large-scale debut for the first season of the largest entertainment resort on the coast.
The debut was supported by the GALAXIA festival, which enters directly into the rankings of Romania’s major festivals and becomes the third largest music festival in the country.
What began as a bold vision transformed, from the very first opening weekend, into a project that puts the Romanian coast in a new light. NIBIRU proposes a complete experience for all generations, built around the Promenade and complemented by over 30 restaurants and shops, festivals, family activities and a diverse programme, active day by day.
The opening of NIBIRU was designed as a spectacle unfolding over the course of an entire evening and offered a first glimpse into the experiences that will define the 46 days of the inaugural season. The number of visitors recorded from the very first days exceeded initial estimates and confirmed the public’s interest in the new entertainment destination on the coast. The opening programme included the first artistic concept signed by Răzvan Dincă, Circus of Wonders, special moments with Selly, Dan Negru and Dumitru Prunariu, an air show, hot air balloons, acrobatics, street artists, projections and fireworks.
NIBIRU also became the place where people gathered to experience together the great moments of summer. Approximately 5,000 people watched the Football World Cup final in NIBIRU Piațeta, projected on the 33-metre screen used for MINA immersive projections, in a collective experience that brought the public together in front of the same spectacle.
Through the diversity of its offering, NIBIRU validates from its very first days the answer to the question that lay at the foundation of the project: what can you do in the evening by the sea? The Promenade, shows, concerts, attractions and experiences for all generations build an active programme every evening, from 18:00 to 03:00. Access to the Promenade is available on the basis of a minimum spend of 25 lei for tickets purchased online before 17:00 on the day of the visit.
NIBIRU builds its programme around two impressive main stages, hosting different experiences: concerts and shows with access included on Center Stage, featuring established Romanian artists and themed shows, and large-scale events on NIBIRU Arena, with top international artists and spectacular productions.
On Center Stage, accessible with entry to the Promenade, Mario Fresh, Carla’s Dreams, Delia, Puya and Smiley took to the stage, in a series of concerts that brought live music to the heart of the NIBIRU experience. The stage became one of the main meeting points of the Promenade, where the public could watch shows without a separate festival ticket. At the same time, on NIBIRU Arena, the largest open-air club, the public watched shows by Clean Bandit, Salvatore Ganacci, Farruko, Nicky Jam and HUGEL, names that brought the GALAXIA energy to the level of major international productions.
GALAXIA makes a strong debut and puts Romania on the map of Latin music and reggaeton festivals
The first GALAXIA edition set the tone for summer at NIBIRU, bringing a large audience together around music, dance and the artists who took to the stage over the three festival days. The line-up brought to NIBIRU international artists and important names from the local scene, including Ozuna, INNA, HUGEL, Nicky Jam, Clean Bandit and DJ Snake. The audience played an essential role in the festival atmosphere, singing alongside artists and following the choreographies, in an interaction that defined the energy of the first edition.
GALAXIA continues its story in 2027, with a new edition scheduled for the period 15–18 July. Tickets have already gone on pre-sale, with prices starting from 96 RON. “The first GALAXIA edition showed us the potential of this festival and the public’s interest in such a concept. For 2027, we want to take the experience to the next level and have already sent offers to some of the biggest Latin and reggaeton artists in the world,” stated Andrei Șelaru (Selly), CEO and co-founder of NIBIRU.
GALAXIA demonstrated from its very first edition the potential of an international-level festival, positioning NIBIRU on the global entertainment map through a carefully chosen line-up, an energetic audience and the ability to bring large-scale productions to the coast.
K-POP DAYS announces new artists joining the line-up
EVERGLOW and WHIB join the K-POP DAYS line-up, completing one of the most powerful K-pop selections presented so far in Central and Eastern Europe. Alongside TAEMIN, JEON SOMI and XENITH, the new confirmations round out a line-up that consolidates K-POP DAYS as one of the most important meeting points for the K-pop community in the region.
The festival is conceived as a complete experience for fans of the genre. In addition to the on-stage shows, the public will have access to workshops, community meetings, gaming areas, brand activations and culinary experiences inspired by Korean culture.
K-POP DAYS thus confirms NIBIRU’s capacity to function as a platform that brings together fan communities, artists and brands in a single place and positions the Romanian coast as a relevant destination for international audiences.
A resort for the whole family
On Mondays and Tuesdays, the NIBIRU universe is dedicated in a special way to families with young children, who can step into a magical world of childhood, in a more relaxed atmosphere, with more space for play, stories and time spent together. The programme includes music, dance and fun with Alice and the Mad Hatter, the Dinosaur Party with Explorer Sam and Explorer Ella, music and dance with Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Disco Party with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The stories continue through the puppet theatre shows Alice in Wonderland, The Story of a Dinosaur, Puss in Boots and The Bear Tricked by the Fox, while the Transformation Corner brings face painting and modelled balloons. The programme is complemented by soap bubbles, balloons and mascot shows, in a colourful experience created for children and parents.
Throughout the week, families can discover the Museum of Planets, street artists, mascots, fantastical characters and live concerts, alongside themed shows for the whole family: Summer Disco Love, American Soul System, Worlds of NIBIRU, Circus of Wonders, Neon Asia, Velvet Cabaret and Barrio Carnaval. The amusement park completes the adventure, the bravest can try the zip line, and at TaranTerra, children and parents discover together the fascinating world of reptiles and exotic animals. For families with teenagers, the programme includes sports activities, from family basketball to padel, so that every generation can find their favourite experience.
For tickets purchased online before 17:00 on the day of the visit, the 25 RON paid for access is offered in the form of a drinks voucher, and children under 5 have free access.
NIBIRU continues its 46-day season with a calendar that brings new festivals to the forefront, from NEBULA X to K-POP DAYS, FAMILY FEST, ROCK DAYS, STARDUST, PORC FEST and RETROGRADE, all integrated into the resort’s programme. Alongside the festivals, the main Promenade, NIBIRU Center Stage and the permanent entertainment areas remain active every evening, offering the public diverse options, from music and shows to children’s play areas and the shops in the Fashion District.
