H&M announces a new collaboration with WARDROBE.NYC, the New York luxury brand specialized in essential pieces. Founded by editor and stylist Christine Centenera and designer Josh Goot, the collection transposes the duo’s defining vision, synthesizing a decade of innovation into a unified, clearly defined wardrobe that is equally avant-garde and easy to wear.

“We wanted to create for H&M a capsule collection faithful to the concept of a wardrobe: a timeless and authentic statement, at once essential and anchored in the present. This approach stems from our personal philosophy on style a direction that has always been a defining component of WARDROBE.NYC and which you will also find in the collaboration with H&M,” says Josh Goot.

The H&M x WARDROBE.NYC collaboration draws inspiration from the WARDROBE.NYC archives to propose a carefully curated selection of emblematic urban style pieces. Impeccable cuts, in a timeless palette wool coats, blazers, tailored skirts define the core of the collection, while pre-washed denim, quilted bomber jackets, hoodies, and fluid drawstring trousers bring a note of sophisticated ease to the casual pieces. At the foundation of the entire collection lies a series of highly versatile layers, which build the foundation of a wardrobe in which each piece harmoniously complements the others.

“We wanted, above all, for these pieces to become wardrobe staples. You build the foundation of a wardrobe and reintegrate it, combining it both with what you already have and with the pieces from the collection. Versatility has always been our goal,” states Christine Centenera.

“The way each silhouette is so carefully considered you can truly feel what it will be like to wear one of these pieces just by looking at it. These are creations that will remain in your wardrobe for a long time,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor and Head of Design Womenswear H&M.
