The new Hisense 116UXS combines advanced color performance with technologies dedicated to visual comfort, and the entire RGB MiniLED 2026 range receives TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification.
Hisense is strengthening its position in the premium display technology industry at IFA 2026, where the new 116UXS made its European debut. The flagship model introduces a new generation of RGB MiniLED technology, with a focus on both color accuracy and brightness, as well as on visual comfort during extended viewing sessions.
The Hisense 116UXS received TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Hardware Solution) certification, thanks to a hardware solution that reduces blue light levels without compromising image quality. At the same time, the entire Hisense RGB MiniLED 2026 TV range, including the UR9S and UR8S models, obtained TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, extending technologies dedicated to visual comfort beyond the flagship segment.
Hisense 116UXS: a new stage for RGB MiniLED technology
The 116UXS model uses Chromagic 2.0 technology and a four-color lighting system, which adds a dedicated cyan light source to the three traditional colors (red, green and blue). The technology enables 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color space.
The TV also received Pantone Validated RGB MiniLED and Pantone Color certifications, which confirm the accuracy of color reproduction. Alongside a maximum brightness of 10,000 nits, the Hi-View AI Engine RGB processor and the Obsidian panel, these technologies contribute to a high level of contrast, depth and image fidelity.

The focus on visual comfort also extends to the Hisense laser solutions portfolio. The Laser Projector XR10, Laser Cinema PX4 Pro and Laser TV L9Q Pro models have, in turn, received TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification.
Recognition for Hisense TVs and audio products at IFA 2026
Hisense’s innovations were also recognized at the IFA 2026 Innovation Awards. The Hisense Soundbar UX1 received the Winner distinction, and the 116UXS MiniLED TV, UR8 TV, REGZA RGB Mini LED TV ZX Series and XR10 Laser Projector models were among the products named Honorees.
At group level, Hisense products obtained a total of 14 IFA Innovation Awards, out of over 530 entries, with distinctions in the Home and Entertainment, Home Appliances, Computing and Gaming, Audio and Design categories. Among the award-winning products are MiniLED and RGB MiniLED TVs, laser projectors, audio solutions, air conditioners, home appliances and wine coolers.
According to Omdia data, Hisense has held the number one position globally in the 100-inch-and-above TV segment, from 2023 through the first quarter of 2026. The company continues to invest in developing next-generation display technologies and in expanding its RGB MiniLED portfolio.
